Steve Krueger, PAL Executive Director- Lincoln Police Department

Hi!  I'm Youth Services Officer Steve Krueger.  I've been in law enforcement for twelve years and this is my fourth year working in your schools.  Currently I'm assigned to our two middle schools, and I work with elementary school kids as well.  I also supervise our Lincoln Youth Center.  My deepest passion is the children in our community and our unique youth programs.  You can contact me at work at 916-343-3632 or e-mail me at skrueger@ci.lincoln.ca.us.  I truly look forward to hearing from and meeting you and your wonderful kids!

Jim Datzman, PAL President

Jim served with the South San Francisco Police Department for 33 years, nineteen of them as Chief of Police, and he was active in their PAL program.

He enjoys the opportunity to continue volunteer service here in Lincoln as a member of the PAL program.

I have 10 grandchildren (none of whom live in Lincoln) and I am involved with PAL in order to help Lincoln’s youth in a manner similar to how my grandchildren are being helped by others in the communities where they live.

I started volunteering when I was 14 years old in TEENS AGAINST POLIO.  Service to others and the community is important to me.  Volunteering is a contribution to society by using your life experiences, knowledge, passion and talents.  When you give to others,  you receive so much more in return.  I choose to be involved in organizations that support and nurture kids as I am a child advocate.

Sandy Datzman, PAL Treasurer

Sandy was a member of the South San Francisco Police Athletic League for 15 years and is pleased to serve in a similar capacity with the Lincoln PAL program.
